It is used to keep critical areas cool and shielded from intense heat, improving reliability and performance in demanding environments.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This heat shield is constructed from high temperature metalized polyimide laminated to a durable 20oz heat treated glass fiber base. It has a robust, 0.031-inch thick structure capable of reflecting heat up to 800�F, with the glass base able to resist radiant heat fields up to 1100�F. The material exhibits a metallic reflective surface layered over a textured fiber backing.
