Description
Wireless Camera Integration. The Wireless Camera Kit for 4", 5", or 8.4" Factory Display enables RV and camper owners to utilize their existing pre-wired Furrion® system and display the camera feed on their factory-installed RAM® display. This kit allows seamless switching between the factory tailgate camera and an enhanced wireless trailer camera for improved rear visibility and safer reversing.
Construction and Appearance. The kit includes a high-resolution digital wireless camera housed in an aluminum alloy casing with a sturdy steel mount bracket for durability. The camera features a 1/4" Sony color CMOS sensor with 700 TVL resolution and a 150° viewing angle, surrounded by 12 infrared LEDs to provide clear night vision up to 15 meters. The IP69 rating ensures the camera is waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, and resistant to extreme temperature and humidity conditions.
Installation. Installation requires removing the factory radio to access the rear camera connector and fitting the wireless receiver and multi-cam switcher harness. The camera plugs directly into the existing Furrion® pre-wire system with no drilling or additional wiring needed at the camera. A 12-volt accessory power source must be located to complete the installation.
