Description
Third Brake Light Camera. The 3rd Brake Light Camera Kit for 8-Inch SYNC 3 Factory Display enhances rear visibility by adding a camera mounted at the third brake light position. It allows users to easily switch between their factory-installed tailgate camera and the new third brake light camera, providing a convenient view of the truck bed or fifth wheel while reversing, reducing the need for a spotter.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features an OEM-grade brake light housing that integrates a high-definition CMOS camera with night vision capabilities. The adjustable swivel camera head is housed within a durable trim bezel that mounts onto the factory brake light assembly, maintaining the factory appearance while improving functionality.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed for plug and play with the factory display; no drilling or cutting of factory wiring is required when using the optional power source accessory. The process involves replacing the existing brake light bezel and connecting the harness to the factory camera input behind the radio.
Warranty. This product includes a 3-year warranty for peace of mind and product reliability. Application. Specifically designed to fit 17-22 F-350 Super Duty models equipped with a factory tailgate camera, it is not compatible with trucks equipped with 360 surround view camera systems.
