Description
Front Lift Coil Springs. The BDS 4 to 5.50-Inch Front Lift Coil Springs allow for precise customization of spring rate and ride height on Dodge RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks. These springs support the weight of the vehicle’s body and chassis while enabling the suspension to adapt effectively to changing road surfaces, enhancing both performance and comfort.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high tensile steel, these coil springs feature a properly sized wire diameter for durability and reliability. They undergo hydraulic stress presetting to reduce fatigue and prevent sagging. Additionally, a polyester-based powder coat is applied to enhance flexibility and resist corrosion, while shot peening further increases tensile strength and wheel travel capacity. The springs are either cold wound with chrome silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160 steel, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation of these coil springs generally takes 1 to 2 hours and does not require drilling, making it suitable for experienced enthusiasts and professional installers alike.
