Description
Suspension Upgrade. The BDS 8-Inch 4-Link Suspension Lift Kit with Rear Leaf Springs and FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks is designed to dramatically improve the stance, capability, and overall suspension performance of the Ram 3500 diesel 4WD truck. It provides substantial lift clearance for larger tires and better handling characteristics by converting the factory radius arm suspension into a robust 4-link system. This kit is essential for off-road enthusiasts who want increased ground clearance and enhanced suspension geometry for a more controlled ride.
Construction And Appearance. The kit features heavy-duty 1/4-inch steel brackets and forged components designed for strength and durability. The coil springs are progressive rate and diesel-specific, ensuring a smooth ride. Shock options include FOX 2.0 performance monotube shocks with anodized aluminum bodies and CNC-machined mounting ends, providing a professional finish and long-lasting performance. Rear components consist of cast iron blocks or multi-leaf springs designed to maintain factory payload ratings and proper pinion angles.
Installation. Installation is rated difficult and estimated to take approximately 10 hours. It involves drilling, welding, and the use of specialty tools such as a pitman arm puller, making it best suited for experienced mechanics or professional installers.
