Description
Suspension Lift Kit. The BDS 6-Inch 4-Link Suspension Lift Kit with choice of NX2 Nitro Series twin-tube or FOX 2.0 Performance Series monotube shocks is engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of Ram 3500 diesel trucks equipped with factory rear air ride. It converts the factory suspension to a heavy-duty 4-link system for improved strength and handling while providing clearance for larger tires. This kit offers improved ride quality and performance both on-road and off-road.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features high-strength 1/4-inch steel components for the 4-link brackets, diesel-specific progressive rate coil springs, and a forged drop pitman arm to correct steering angles. The shocks include anodized finishes and robust mounting hardware. All components are engineered for durability and long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation is moderately difficult and is estimated to take approximately eight hours. Specialty tools including a pitman arm puller, step drill bit, and welding equipment are required, with some drilling necessary for proper fitment.
Application. This lift kit fits 2014 to 2018 4WD 6.7L Ram 3500 trucks equipped with rear air ride suspension and the 6-bolt indexing ring transmission. It is specifically designed for diesel models in this range and requires factory air ride systems for compatibility.
