Description
Lift Coil Springs. The BDS front lift coil springs are designed to customize the spring rate and ride height for lifted Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks. These coil springs support the weight of the truck's body and chassis while allowing the suspension, wheels, and tires to follow changes in road conditions for a smooth ride.
Construction and Appearance. Made from high tensile steel, these coil springs are engineered with the correct wire diameter to meet OE standards. Durability is enhanced through a polyester-based powder coat finish, hydraulic presetting to reduce metal fatigue and prevent sagging, and shot peening to increase tensile strength. The springs are either cold wound with Chrome Silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160 alloy steel, providing long-lasting performance even under full coil bind conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically takes 1-2 hours without the need for drilling or complex modifications, making it a reliable upgrade or replacement for compatible trucks.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit the 2005-2026 4WD Ford F-350 Super Duty models, supporting 2.5-inch lift from 2005-2019 and 3-inch lift from 2020-2026 model years.
