Description
High-Performance Transmission Package. The BD Power Roadmaster 68RFE Transmission & Converter Package enhances the durability and performance of Ram 6.7L Cummins trucks. Ideal for stock or mildly tuned setups, this transmission package increases line pressure while preventing cross leaks that commonly cause clutch failures. It is especially well-suited for street and towing applications, providing an enhanced torque converter stall and improved fluid coupling efficiency.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a BD ProTech68 valve body with a custom bonded gasket separator plate designed to increase line pressure and prevent leaks. It includes a deep sump aluminum oil pan to maximize fluid capacity and cooling, a billet 4C spring retainer, and a forged billet front cover with thicker walls and stronger mounting pads for added strength and durability. The ProForce torque converter has a billet forged front cover, furnace brazed turbine fins, and an enhanced stall stator for superior performance.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation typically requires about nine hours and involves special tuning to increase line pressure for 2019 and newer applications. No drilling is necessary, but additional line pressure control tuning is required and not included.
_x000D__x000D_Warranty. The package includes a 24-month parts warranty and 12-month labor coverage.
