The BD Power 68RFE Transmission and Converter Package with Proforce Converter; $2800 Core Charge Included is designed as a matched transmission and torque converter set, dyno tested together to ensure ultimate performance and reliability. This package improves your diesel vehicle's ability to handle power and torque demands efficiently for towing, street use, or track applications.

      Construction and Appearance. The transmission features a hard anodized valve body with a new solenoid pack, custom bonded gasket valve body separator plate, and durable QT100 pressure plates that increase clutch capacity and reduce distortion. Additionally, it includes a reinforced accumulator plate and a deep sump oil pan for enhanced fluid capacity and cooling. The Proforce converter has a billet forged front cover with thicker walls and stronger mounting pads, along with furnace brazed turbine fins for improved fluid coupling efficiency.

      Installation. Installation requires approximately nine hours and involves no specialized drilling. Special tuning is required for 2019 and newer applications to increase line pressure. A line pressure controller is not included.

      Warranty. This package includes a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty.
