Featuring a raw metal finish, the BD Power 48RE is constructed with heavy-duty clutches, a fully rollerized gear train, and a high-temp Raybestos band to maximize durability. Compared to stock, it offers up to 25% stronger holding power and improved oil flow thanks to a heavy-duty transmission pan with 1-quart additional capacity. Roller Torrington bearings and all-new bushings improve internal performance, while an upgraded governor pressure transducer and solenoid ensure smooth, accurate shifting.
