Description
Performance Upgrade. The BD Power UpPipe Kit replaces the factory exhaust up-pipes, a common failure point prone to leakage in 6.0L Power Stroke engines. It improves exhaust flow efficiency and turbo response by minimizing restrictions, helping maintain engine power and reliability.
Construction and Appearance. The kit includes a ductile cast iron Y-pipe for superior durability and larger diameter 304 stainless steel up-pipes. It features internally shielded stainless steel expansion bellows and V-band connections for flexibility and a secure fit. The components are designed with smooth internal geometry to optimize exhaust flow and reduce leaks.
Installation. Installation typically takes about 4.5 hours and requires removal of the OEM heat shield; no drilling is necessary. The procedure should be performed by experienced technicians familiar with exhaust and turbo systems.
Warranty. This product comes with a 12-month or 24,000-mile parts warranty for peace of mind.
Application. This kit is specifically engineered for 2003 to early 2004 6.0L Powerstroke F-350 Super Duty trucks. OEM heat shield removal is necessary for installation, with a replacement heat shield available for those wishing to reinstall it.
