Description
Complete Transmission Package. The BD Power Roadmaster 6R140 Transmission and Converter Package, with a $2000 core charge included, is engineered to enhance reliability and longevity for your diesel truck. This package combines a remanufactured transmission, torque converter, and pressure controller to deliver increased clutch holding power and durability, making it suitable for both street driving and towing. It provides an OE-quality replacement with improved performance under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The transmission features a brand new OEM valve body, stock clutch counts, and a BD deep sump pan for better fluid management. The torque converter includes a dual surface clutch assembly and a machined steel reaction ring that replaces the factory stamping for improved durability. All components are fully remanufactured with furnace-brazed pump and turbine fins, ensuring a long service life and reliable performance.
Installation. Installation requires approximately 12 hours and a Ford scanner to update the transmission control module with the new solenoid code and perform a relearn. No drilling is required, but the yoke adapter and rear mount bracket must be transferred for 2WD applications.
Warranty. This package includes a 24-month parts warranty and a 12-month labor warranty, excluding coverage for race abuse.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2011-2016 6.7L Powerstroke F-350 Super Duty trucks, ensuring optimal compatibility and performance for this vehicle and engine combination.
