Description
Highly Durable Transmission Package. The BD Power Roadmaster 4R100 Transmission and Proforce Converter Package, including a $1200 core charge, combines a robust remanufactured transmission and a high-performance torque converter to enhance reliability and shift quality for stock or lightly modified trucks. It is engineered to improve overall drivability and extend the lifespan of the transmission under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This assembly features OEM clutch counts and a remanufactured valve body upgraded for firmer shifts. It includes a BD deep sump oil pan that increases oil capacity by six quarts, finished for durability, and a fully remanufactured ProForce torque converter with new covers, bearings, friction components, and steels. Critical components such as the center support, OD snap ring, and clutch retaining ring are machined and upgraded to enhance durability.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and an estimated time of seven hours. It is designed as a direct-fit replacement with no drilling or major vehicle modifications necessary.
Warranty. This package includes a 24-month/100,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty.
Application. This product fits 99-03 4WD 7.3L Powerstroke F-350 Super Duty models without exception.
