Description
Enhanced Drivetrain Control. The BD Power 2 Low UnLoc allows manual disengagement of the front wheel drive on 4WD Dodge Ram vehicles, directing full torque to the rear wheels when in low range. This improves maneuverability by eliminating front axle resistance and enabling sharper turns without axle or U-joint binding. It is ideal for applications that require increased rear torque and improved low-speed handling.
Construction and Appearance. The kit installs with a plug-and-play harness located below the glove box, avoiding any wire cutting or splicing, and preserving the vehicle’s original wiring. It features an illuminated rocker switch that clearly indicates when the front axle override is active, designed to integrate seamlessly with the vehicle’s existing control module.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. No drilling or cutting is necessary, as the kit plugs directly into the vehicle’s control module and includes a rocker switch that can be conveniently placed near the 4WD lever.
