      Description

      Boost Tube Upgrade. The Banks Power Boost Tube Upgrade Kit in natural finish improves airflow by replacing the stock boost tubes with larger diameter tubes. By increasing the flow area by up to 103%, these boost tubes enable greater air and fuel delivery, resulting in increased horsepower and faster turbo spool times. This upgrade is vital for optimizing engine performance and efficiency in turbodiesel applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from high-quality aluminized steel, the boost tubes feature mandrel bending to maintain a consistent 3-1/2" diameter with smooth, larger radius bends. The natural finish stops short of the tube ends to ensure better grip for included 4- and 5-ply heavy-duty silicone couplers, designed to handle high temperatures and boost pressures. Spring-loaded constant tension clamps provide a secure, leak-free connection even under demanding conditions.

      Installation. Installation typically takes about four hours and is moderately challenging. No drilling or permanent modifications to the vehicle are required to complete this upgrade.
