Innovative Cooling Performance. The Banks Power AAM 11.50/11.80-Inch Ram-Air Differential Cover; Black-Ops is engineered to significantly enhance differential fluid cooling, extending the life of lubrication and protecting your drivetrain under heavy loads. By actively forcing air through heat radiation fins using patented Ram-Air scoops, it dramatically improves heat rejection—cooling up to five times better than standard flat-back covers. This differential cover is ideal for owners who demand reliable performance especially during towing or sustained highway driving.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-strength A380 aircraft-grade die-cast aluminum, the cover features CNC-machined surfaces for an exact fit and durability. It is finished in a Black Ops texture that delivers a rugged yet refined appearance to complement the undercarriage of your truck. Stainless steel hex flange bolts are included to ensure secure and corrosion-resistant mounting, while the sight glass with a contrast screen and Viton O-ring seal adds practicality and visual appeal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed within an hour using basic hand tools. No drilling or major modifications are necessary. The design maintains factory ground clearance and includes a 20° angled fill port for easier and cleaner fluid maintenance.
Application. Designed to fit 2001-2019 Chevy/GMC vehicles with AAM 11.5" or 11.8" 14-bolt rear axles; 2003-2018 RAM 3500 models with AAM 11.5" or 11.8" 14-bolt rear axles; and 2019-2024 RAM 6.4L models. A sway bar spacer kit is required on RAM trucks with OEM sway bars, and visual confirmation is recommended for 6.4L RAM 3500 trucks to ensure proper fitment and clearance.
