Features & Specs
- Ease of installation requires complete familiarization with procedure before starting work.
- Left side of vehicle refers to driver’s side; right side to passenger’s side.
- Disconnect negative battery cable before beginning work.
- Route and tie wires and hoses a minimum of 6 inches away from exhaust heat, moving parts, and sharp edges.
- Installation should be performed when vehicle has cooled to prevent injury.
- Support vehicle with weight-rated safety stands or ramps when raised.
- Do not use floor jacks or nonintended items to support vehicle during installation.
- Keep work area clean to prevent foreign objects entering intake, exhaust, or lubrication components.
- Loosen and remove stock intake elbow and boost tube carefully; cover openings to prevent contamination.
- Remove electric heater wire harness and wire brackets from stock intake elbow.
- Remove stock intake gaskets using gasket scraper; clean all sealing surfaces thoroughly.
- Retain factory hoses and hose clamps at CAC for reuse with Banks boost tube.
- Install Banks driver-side boost tube with supplied clamps and factory hose at CAC.
- Clean all connection points with non-oil based solvent before installing boost tubes.
- Reinstall electric heater element block with supplied gasket; reattach electrical connections.
- Install supplied studs in intake manifold with blue thread lock and torque to specifications.
- Install supplied ground strap if vehicle lacks factory ground on intake heater.
- Route injector wire harness and sensor wire harnesses properly to avoid interference and heat.
- Set Monster-Ram intake in place on studs with gasket and fasten using supplied hardware; torque to spec.
- Secure heater wire harness away from heat source using cable tie.
- Plug off unused ports with supplied plugs; use ports only for non-control sensors.
- Reconnect rubber hose from boost tube to Monster-Ram and torque clamp to 100 inch pounds.
- Reinstall dipstick bracket using factory bolt; use corrugated loom for wire protection on 2004-2007 models.
- Use CARB-approved emissions label in radiator shroud area or as directed.
- Reconnect batteries; installation complete.
- Fits 2003-2007 5.9L RAM 3500.

Constructed from durable materials, the Monster-Ram intake system features a robust, precision-machined intake housing designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures. The system includes a powder-coated red finish for corrosion resistance and a professional appearance that complements under-hood components. High-quality gaskets and fittings ensure reliable sealing and long-term durability.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and standard hand tools, with no drilling or major modifications needed. The OEM intake and boost tube are removed, and the Monster-Ram system is installed using supplied hardware and factory clamps, making the process straightforward when following detailed instructions.
Warranty. This product includes a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2003-2007 5.9L RAM 3500 diesel trucks with the Cummins 24-valve engine.
