This brake kit features two pieces cross-drilled and slotted rotors that offer increased heat dissipation. What's more, it has 6 piston calipers that will slow down your Sierra 1500 faster than the factory brakes.
High Performance Brake Pad. The Baer Extreme Rear Brake Kit features high-performance pads that utilize DR11 backing plate. Besides this, you can easily replace them.
Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotors. The cross-drilled and slotted rotors provide twofold benefits to Baer Extreme Rear Brake Kit. The drilled holes allow the brakes of your Sierra 1500 to run up to 180 degrees cooler to decrease brake fade. In addition, the rounded slots are designed to remove brake debris, dust, and moisture. This ensures that the contact patch of the slotted rotors is spotless for superior pad bites.
Built to Last. The 6 black piston calipers in the Baer Extreme Rear Brake Kit are constructed out of forged aluminum for additional strength. In addition, they are coated with stainless steel. The rotors are also coated with corrosion resistant zinc electroplates to stop wear. Moreover, it comprises of noise suppression springs for low braking noise.
