Description
Cure the Headache. Carrying long cargo in your vehicle’s bed is all well and good until you hear it moving around. If you’re not careful, that cargo could cause damage or even fall out of the bed. Cure that particular headache with BackRack’s RAM 3500 Headache Rack Frame. Installing directly behind your rear window, the rack offers handy tie-down points that allow you to secure your cargo. It’s also a protective part, offering cover to your rear window against stones and branches.
Rigid Construction. Once you have this headache rack in place, it’s tough enough to handle anything the trail throws at it. Made using rugged 12-gauge steel, the rack also has a black powder coating. This impact-resistant rack won’t experience any problems with rust or corrosion.
Drill-Free Installation. The rack comes with a drill-free mounting kit, allowing you to install it without altering your vehicle. You’ll find pre-drilled mounting slots for the rack are already in your vehicle.
One-Year Limited Warranty. Covering material defects and workmanship faults, the manufacturer’s 1-year warranty provides extensive cover. However, it does have exclusions related to damage caused by accidents, misuse, and misapplication. It also does not cover standard wear and tear.
Application. The RAM 3500 Headache Rack Frame is designed to fit Dodge RAM 3500 vehicles made between 1994-2011. It’s also compatible with the 2012-2026 models of the RAM 3500. However, it can’t be installed on any vehicle with a RAM Box.
Installation Difficulty. Requiring standard tool work, installation can be handled in a novice. Expect to spend about 1-2 hours on fitting this headache rack.
