    Description

The ATS Diesel Performance Aurora 3000 VFR Stage 1 Turbocharger is a direct drop-in, emissions-legal upgrade for the 6.7L Cummins, designed to deliver both streetable performance and serious towing capability. Supporting gains of 100+ horsepower over stock with no additional tuning or emissions modifications, this turbo is ideal for RAM owners looking to boost reliability, throttle response, and overall power without sacrificing factory features.

    Construction and Appearance. Built with premium materials, the Aurora 3000 VFR features billet 316 stainless steel unison rings for resistance to sticking and warping, paired with HSM bearing and turbine housings for improved flow and strength. The turbine housing is ceramic coated for heat resistance, and the compressor housing is powder-coated for corrosion protection. Modern solid-state electronics ensure long-term reliability, while the system retains full factory functions including the exhaust brake, warm-up mode, and fast spool characteristics.

    Installation. Installation is considered hard and is best handled by experienced technicians. As a direct drop-in unit, it requires no tuning, deletes, or actuator cleaning intervals, but proper tools and knowledge of the Cummins VGT system are essential for a successful install.

    Warranty. This product includes a two-year or 150,000-mile warranty from ATS Diesel.

    Application. This ATS Diesel Performance Aurora 3000 VFR Stage 1 Turbocharger fits 2007 to 2012 6.7L RAM 3500 models.
