This reconfiguration results in a throttle boost ranging from 50% all the way to an astonishing 400%. This boosted throttle response and acceleration range lets you perform important driving moves like overtaking and cornering with confidence, be it on the racetrack or the road.
Six Functional Driving Modes for a Range of Situations. The Amp'd Throttle Booster with Switch provides your RAM truck with 6 useful driving modes namely, valet, stock, low, medium, high, and extreme, each ideal for certain driving situations. Stock mode maintains factory throttle settings, and is useful for casual city driving. Low and medium modes provide a 50% and 75% throttle boost respectively, and is ideal for trickier driving, like on the highway. At the end of the spectrum are high and extreme mode, providing 100% and 400% throttle boosts respectively, and is best for competition driving. Finally, valet mode reduces throttle response by 50% and is ideal for keeping unauthorized individuals from abusing your truck.
Fast Plug-And-Play Installation. The Amp'd Throttle Booster comes with a switch that’s designed for easy activation of the throttle booster’s various modes. Installation is a relatively fast plug-and-play procedure and installs on your gas pedal’s throttle sensor. There may be a need to drill 2 small holes to properly install the included switch mounting bracket. Other than this step, no other modification is necessary.
