They extend automatically when vehicle doors open and retract to maintain a sleek appearance and maximize ground clearance when not in use.
Construction and Appearance. These running boards are constructed from die-cast aluminum with a corrosion-resistant military-grade black PTFE coating for durability. The boards feature a textured, slip-resistant finish and are 6 inches wide, cab-length steps equipped with low-profile integrated LED courtesy lights to improve visibility during entry and exit.
Installation. Installation typically requires professional expertise due to the vehicle-specific mounting kits and wiring components, including a plug-n-play OBDII module for newer models. Drilling is generally not required, streamlining the installation process.
