Description
Power Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Plug is designed to enhance vehicle entry and exit by automatically deploying and retracting sturdy running boards. It operates seamlessly with door openings, offering convenience and improving accessibility for truck and SUV passengers.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum, the running boards feature a military-grade black PTFE coating that provides durability and a sleek black finish. The steps have a textured, slip-resistant surface and integrated low-profile LED lighting for enhanced safety.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and requires drilling. The product includes all necessary mounting hardware and vehicle-specific instructions to assist with proper fitting. Boards on Double Cab models require trimming during installation.
Warranty. The product comes with a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation conditions.
Application. Specifically fits 2015-2016 HD Sierra/Silverado models equipped with 6.6L Duramax engines, including Double Cab and Crew Cab configurations.
