Description
Power Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Xtreme - Black features motorized running boards that extend when vehicle doors open and retract when closed, providing both convenience and safety. Designed for extreme conditions, these steps assist entry and exit while protecting ground clearance during driving.
Construction and Appearance. Built from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum, these running boards are anodized and coated with a military-grade PTFE finish for enhanced durability. The 6-inch wide step features a textured, slip-resistant surface along with integrated LED lights for improved visibility in low light.
Installation. The running boards mount securely to the vehicle’s rocker panels using vehicle-specific brackets. Installation requires some drilling and wiring, including connection to the OBD-II port for newer models. Professional installation is strongly recommended to ensure proper operation and safety.
Warranty. This product comes with a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Application. Designed specifically for select 2014-2018 Sierra 1500 Double Cab and Crew Cab models.
