Description
Power-Retractable Running Boards. The AMP Research PowerStep - Black offers a seamless and practical solution for entering and exiting elevated vehicles. Designed to automatically deploy when the door opens and retract after closing, these running boards enhance vehicle accessibility with both functionality and sleek aesthetics.
Construction and Appearance. Made from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum, the boards are coated with a military-grade black PTFE finish that protects against oxidation and abrasion. The 6-inch wide steps provide a textured, slip-resistant surface, and are equipped with low-profile integrated LED courtesy lights for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
Installation. Professional installation is recommended for best results. The steps mount securely to the vehicle's rocker panel. Newer vehicle models utilize a plug-and-play OBDII module, which minimizes the need for drilling and simplifies the installation process.
Warranty. This product is backed by a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship when installed according to the instructions.
