The convenient V-shape design looks great and functions even better. It’s a versatile design with enough clearance to allow compatibility with Tonneau cover rails.

      Multi-Purpose Rack. If you flip it inside with a closed tailgate, you can create a sturdy V-shaped pen for your cargo. Open the tailgate and flip the Amp Research Bedxtender HD Sport out to create even more room for your cargo.

      Sturdy Construction. Although it’s a lightweight design, the Amp Research Bedxtender is made of 6064-T6 aluminum alloy. The tube frame is supported by a robust mounting system and gains additional structural integrity thanks to the composite uprights. To make things even sweeter, the frame comes with a weather and corrosion-resistant silver coating.

      Bolt-On Installation. Installing the Amp Research Bedxtender should be easy enough considering the precise alignment with the stock mounting holes on select vehicles. No drilling or additional mounting hardware should be necessary. But not all models will support an adaptation-free installation.

      Limited Warranty. Amp Research offers a 3-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty. This covers craftsmanship, parts, and finish. However, you can check the complete warranty policy for possible exclusions and proper handling instructions.

      Application. The manufacturer followed strict technical guidelines to make this a compatible rack for the 2002-2011 Dodge RAM 1500 and 2012-2018 RAM 1500 models. However, some models may require drilling.

      Installation Difficulty. This simple installation can take 30 minutes to complete.
