Power Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep XL Running Boards provide automatic deployment and retraction for easy vehicle access. Designed for convenience and enhanced functionality, these running boards deploy when the door opens and retract shortly after it closes, helping passengers enter and exit lifted trucks with ease.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum, these running boards feature anodized components finished with a military-grade PTFE coating for long-lasting durability. The textured 6-inch wide surface is slip-resistant, and integrated LED lighting enhances safety by illuminating both the step and ground area during use.
Installation. Installation is a bolt-on process using existing holes in the vehicle’s rocker panels. All necessary hardware and instructions are included. While the installation is straightforward and typically requires no drilling, professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and function.
Warranty. These running boards include a five-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
