Power Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards provide an automatic step solution for trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs. They deploy when vehicle doors open to assist with easier entry and exit and retract to maintain sleek vehicle aesthetics and maximize ground clearance.
Construction and Appearance. These running boards are built from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with a military-grade black PTFE coating for enhanced durability. The steps feature a textured, slip-resistant surface for safety. Integrated low-profile LED lights illuminate the step area for added visibility in low-light conditions.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and is recommended to be performed by professionals. Many applications do not require drilling. The product includes a vehicle-specific mounting kit with installation instructions.
Warranty. This product is backed by a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
