You can expect high-quality craftsmanship in the American Racing Headers 1-7/8 inch Long Tube Headers with Catted Y-Pipe that are made for off-road use only in your GMC Sierra 1500 4.8L and 5.3L. The optimized primary tube routing was innovatively designed to have a precision fitment and ensure high performance.
Quality Steel Material. The manufacturer uses high-caliber 304 stainless steel to make these headers to ensure excellent durability. High-quality 200 cell metallic substrate is an integral feature in the catalytic converter to deliver optimized longevity. There is a warp-free seal in the 3/8 inch thick laser-cut flanges for maximized performance. The inlets are innovatively hand-ported and TIG welded to make them extremely strong. The merge collectors include high-caliber welded scavenger spikes.
Basic Installation. You will need to have moderate mechanical expertise and use basic hand tools to complete the straightforward installation process for these long tube headers. The installation can be completed in approximately two hours in this direct bolt-on process that may require some modifications. All the required hardware, gaskets, and components are included to facilitate the installation in your GMC.
