No Tune Required. This AIRAID MXP Series Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your RAM without the need of reprogramming your trucks computer. By utilizing state of the art computer-aided designs, this AIRAID Intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Superior Filtration. This MXP Series Cold Air Intake provides superior air filtration, since it includes an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® technology. SynthaFlow® is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze “performance” filters just can’t capture. Airaid Premium Filters, with SynthaFlow® can capture particulates down to 2 microns in size. Best of all Premium Filters are washable and re-usable saving you money.
Custom Engineered. Your RAM deserves only the best, and that means that only a cold air intake system that has been custom engineered will do. This system includes a one-piece, roto-molded air box and a cross-linked, high density polyethylene intake tube. Both have been engineered to provide maximum air flow when you need it most.
