Description
Rough and Ready Look. Your vehicle already looks ready to take on the trail. But if you want to enhance its trail-tough aesthetic, you can use Air Design’s Sierra 1500 Off-Road Styling Kit to do it quickly and cost-effectively. Coming with a host of parts, this kit features fender vents, floor liners, fender flares, and door rocker panels. You also get a front bumper guard, which includes DRLs, plus an applique and spoiler for your tailgate. With the full kit installed, your vehicle is transformed for the trail.
High-Tech Construction. Air Design doesn’t use any old plastics when making the parts of this kit. The high-impact ABS plastics and polymers are multi-layered for added protection. The polyurethanes used are all injection molded for a perfect fit. Each part of the kit is paintable, though the satin black finish applied to each is stylish enough for most applications.
Direct Installation. The fender vents are the only parts of this kit that require drilling. Full instructions are provided to help you do this yourself. The rest of the kit installs using a combination of brackets, adhesives, and push pins, all of which are provided.
Variable Warranty. The Sierra 1500 Off-Road Styling Kit comes with a warranty that lasts for either 36,000 miles or 3 years. It covers you against factory defects, though it has exclusions for damage caused by the misapplication, neglect, abuse, or improper installation of any of the parts.
Application. Your Sierra 1500 Off-Road Styling Kit is designed for use with 2016-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab vehicles that have the stock 6.50-Foot box.
Installation Difficulty. Mostly suitable for beginners, you only need intermediate skills if you intend the handle the drilling for the fender vents yourself. The entire kit installs in about 4-5 hours.
