Additionally, integrated high-flow cats as well as 3 in. to 3-1/2 in. transitioning piping both work together to produce faster exhaust flow which helps to increase power. For even greater performance numbers, pair the AFE Twisted Stainless Steel Street Series Y-Pipe with the Twisted Steel Headers.
Deep, Aggressive Roar. The AFE Twisted Stainless Steel Street Series Y-Pipe’s design produces an exhaust note that’s deeper and more aggressive. With the AFE Twisted Stainless Steel Street Series Y-Pipe, you now have a Sierra that both looks and sounds powerful.
Free-Flowing Catalytic Converters. The AFE Twisted Stainless Steel Street Series Y-Pipe features a built-in 400-cell catalytic converter that’s less restrictive compared to stock. This allows for a more free-flowing exhaust, that helps increase power. While the Street Series Y-Pipe’s cats do a good job of limiting exhaust pollutants, it is not C.A.R.B.-certified making it illegal for use in California and other states that have adopted C.A.R.B. standards.
Heavy-Duty Construction. The AFE Twisted Stainless Steel Street Series Y-Pipe is manufactured from heavy-duty 409-grade stainless steel for extreme durability. The piping is completely mandrel-bent to support the free flowing of exhaust gasses and the reduction of performance-draining backpressure.
