How to Install aFe Magnum Force Stage 2 Pro Dry S Cold Air Intake - Black on your Sierra

• Please read the entire instruction manual before proceeding.
• Ensure all components listed are present.
• If you are missing any of the components, call customer support at 951-493-7100.
• Ensure you have all necessary tools before proceeding.
• Do not attempt to work on your vehicle when the engine is hot.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal before proceeding.
• Retain factory parts for future use.

Refer to Figure A for Steps 1-3
Step 1: Disconnect the MAF sensor plug from stock intake tube 1 .
Step 2: Loosen clamp from OE airbox housing and OE Intake tube 2 .
Step 3: Loosen clamp from throttle body 3 .

Step 4: Disconnect OE intake tube from the radiator hose clip.

Step 5: Remove the OE crank case breather plug from the resonator chamber (as shown) and remove it from where it attaches to the engine.

Step 6: Remove the top portion of the intake housing by removing the four factory screws 4 . Retain for later use.
Step 7: Remove the OE filter from the intake housing.

Step 8: Remove the MAF sensor from the factory housing (Figure E).
Step 9: Install MAF sensor from the factory housing into the aFe intake tube using the provided screws (Figure F).

Refer to Figure F for Steps 10-11
Step 10: Install the seal trim on the edge of the top corners of the aFe housing.
Step 11: Install aFe filter onto housing along with clamp. Do not tighten.
Step 12: Install aFe filter into housing along with clamp. Make sure it is secured in the filter retention groove that is molded into the filter neck.

Step 12: Install aFe housing using the 3 factory screws removed along with the 3 provided 3/8" spacers.

Step 13: Install silicone coupler on throttle body with provided clamps 5 .

Step 14: Install aFe intake tube onto the filter, then onto the throttle body coupler.
Step 15: Install the crank case breather onto the vehicle using the hose provided 6.
Step 16: Reconnect MAF sensor harness 7 .
Step 17: Make sure all clamps and connections are secure. Your installation is now complete. Thank you for choosing aFe Power!

*Verify all connections are secure 100-200 miles after installation.
