Complete stock intake.


Loosen clamp at resonator box.


Pull off boot from resonator box and remove complete filter box assembly.


Remove the two resonator hold down bolts.


Remove temperature sensor wire harness and vent hose from resonator box.


To remove resonator lift up to free the front grommet and pull out.


Remove stock resonator boot.


Intake tube “L” Bend with plugs. Remove applicable plugs for temperature sensor if necessary. A) 3-1/4" x 2" coupler B) 3-1/2" x 4" coupler


Place Intake tube “L” Bend in place. Tighten hose clamp and connect temperature senor if applicable.


Remove the upper front mounting bolt for the plastic filter box mount and install the wide “L” fender bracket (C). Remove the upper radiator mounting bolt and install the narrow “L” bracket (D). Assemble isolation mounts facing up on tabs.


Attach the remaining short angled tube mounting brackets 05-00065 (A) and 05-00066 (B) with the provided screws and lock washers.


Lower the “S” Tube into place with the attached tabs towards the front. Join the tubes with the 3- 1/2” x 4” straight coupler. The remaining M8 Nuts, lock washers and flat washers can now be installed


Install the filter from below the vehicle and tighten the clamp from above. Make sure the clamp is at the upper edge of the filter so that it doesn’t slip off.


Place enclosed CARB EO sticker on a smooth/clean surface on or near the intake system. Eo identification label is required in passing Smog Check inspection. Make sure all hoses and clamps are tight and that all electrical components are secure. Re-check and after a few hours of operation.
