ECU Re-Tuning Not Necessary. The AFE Momentum HD series cold air intake provides its gains in performance without the need for an ECU re-tune. However, giving your truck’s ECU a future re-tune will always be beneficial for its performance as this will always maximize the potential of this cold air intake.
Easy Maintenance Pro DRY S Air Filter. The cold air intake includes the Pro DRY S air filter that’s capable of providing 99.20% filtration efficiency. This is accomplished by a 3-layer synthetic media that’s also designed for superior airflow. These factors make sure your engine gets all the cold clean air it needs. Additionally, this air filter is easy to maintain by tapping, vacuuming, or washing with warm water and mild detergent.
