Description
Boost Activated Fuel System. The AFE Fuel System is designed to enhance fuel delivery for diesel engines by activating the pump only under boost conditions, which improves efficiency and reduces wear. This system ensures a reliable fuel supply for demanding applications and is ideal for heavy-duty trucks requiring robust fuel performance.
Construction and Appearance. The fuel system features a clear high-impact polycarbonate sight glass for easy fuel inspection and a billet 6061-T6 aluminum manifold that eliminates porosity concerns common with cast aluminum. The marine-grade motor protects against dust and water intrusion, while bronze helical spur gears ensure quiet operation and durability. The assembly includes O.E. quality Viton seals compatible with diesel and biodiesel fuels, delivering a high-quality and rugged design.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a plug-and-play design using Deutsch weather-proof connectors, requiring no cutting or modifications to the stock fuel lines. Typical installation time is approximately two hours, with no additional drilling necessary thanks to the direct bolt-on steel mounting bracket.
