Description

The Addictive Desert Designs Bed Channel Stiffeners reinforce the commonly weak bed channels of your truck, preventing cracking caused by heavy loads, camper shells, bed racks, or off-road vibrations. Designed to strengthen and extend the life of your truck bed, these stiffeners provide added rigidity essential for demanding use.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from robust steel, each stiffener combines a 3/16-inch stiffener plate and a 3/16-inch backer plate, delivering a total added thickness of 3/8 inches. The parts are sandblasted before receiving a durable 2-stage hammer black powder coat finish that ensures corrosion resistance and a refined textured look.
Installation. Installation requires drilling and the use of rivet nuts, making it a moderate task requiring some mechanical skills and tools. Proper installation ensures a secure fit and reliable reinforcement.
Application. Designed specifically for the 2019-2026 Sierra 1500 models without the Carbon Pro Bed, these stiffeners are not compatible with Carbon Pro bed versions due to differing bed constructions.
