Tuning Is Not Required. For your convenience, this cold air intake does not require the reprogramming of your vehicle’s ECU. However, if you want to get the most out of this product, you may perform an optional custom retune.
Cone Air Filter. This cold air intake comes with a high-performance cone air filter. With this component, your engine won’t be penetrated by harmful dirt particles.
Aluminum Intake Tube. For maximum strength and long-lasting durability, this product’s intake tube is manufactured using aluminum. With this material, the intake tube is able to handle hot underhood temperatures without cracking or breaking. Furthermore, aluminum intake tubes guarantee no air leaks, providing optimal airflow to your engine.
Direct Installation. Setting up this cold air intake offers a direct installation. Using a few basic hand tools, you can bolt it onto your truck’s factory mounting points. Light to moderate level of mechanical expertise is required to ensure proper installation.
Not CARB-Certified. Currently, this cold air intake is not CARB-certified. This means that you cannot use this product in the streets and highways of California and other states adopting its emission standards.
