It is engineered for demanding applications such as rock crawling, off-road racing, and trail running, improving vehicle performance on challenging terrain. This differential ensures power delivery while allowing wheel disengagement during turns for smooth handling.
Construction and Appearance. This locker features robust construction using 8620 alloy steel internals for enhanced durability. Its patented internal design includes larger radius clutch teeth which offer significantly greater strength and resistance to damage. The unit is precision assembled in the USA, ensuring high-quality standards and long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and no drilling, as it is a direct replacement for the Dana 60 carrier with compatible spline count and ratios. Fitment checks must ensure compatibility with full float axle setups and the absence of c-clip axle designs.
Application. Designed specifically to fit the 2004 to 2006 2WD RAM 1500 with a Dana 60 rear axle featuring a 35-spline setup and gear ratios of 4.56 and up. This part is not compatible with c-clip axle configurations on these models.
