      Description

      Boosting Braking Performance. If you want to boost the braking power of your Sierra, you’ll need to outfit it with this Red Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Drilled and Slotted Rotors. This Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit is designed to boost your Sierra’s braking performance even with upgraded tires. Additionally, Wilwood designed this big brake kit to be fully compatible with your Sierra’s factory master cylinder output as well as ABS function.

      AERO6 6-Piston Calipers. This Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit’s AERO6 calipers are designed to provide unrivaled stopping power on the road or on the track. Featuring an aluminum alloy billet construction, these calipers are stress-flow forged for optimum efficiency and performance. To protect these calipers from the negative effects of rust and corrosion, Wilwood applies a red corrosion-resistant, powder-coated finish.

      Uses SRP Drilled and Slotted Rotors. To ensure high-quality braking, Wilwood uses only SRP drilled and slotted rotors. Each rotor is constructed using Spec-37 iron to ensure years of problem-free service. The drilled holes and slots are engineered to minimize pad glaze, as well as dispersing gas, dust, and heat for an optimum response each and every time. Lastly, Wilwood treats these rotors with a black electro-coat finish to prevent rust and corrosion.

      Dependable Smartpad BP-10 Brake Pads. Smartpad BP-10 brake pads are used to ensure quick and efficient braking performance even when under wet and rainy conditions. Wilwood developed these brake pads with a low to medium wear rate to minimize the amount of dust they produce.

      Moderate Level Installation. A moderate level of mechanical experience is needed to install this Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit. The good part is that you don’t need to do any drilling to install this big brake kit. Take note that this kit will not work on Sierra’s with aluminum spindles. Make sure that your Sierra is using cast iron spindles before installation.

      Front Brake Kit Contents. Included with this Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit are 6-piston AERO6 calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, BP-10 brake pads, and all the other hardware necessary to complete the installation process.

      Brake Line Kit. Your Sierra’s brake lines cannot be used with the calipers that come with this Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit. To ensure proper installation, you need to use Wilwood’s brake line kit.

      Application. This Red Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Drilled and Slotted Rotors will fit all 1999-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 models.

      Application Note. A wheel with a minimum diameter of 18 inches is required for this Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit.
