Power-Up for Safety. Your trailer’s electrical system runs on a 2-wire configuration, making it incompatible with your RAM’s 3-wire system. This factor, in turn, makes powering up your trailer’s tail and signal lights complicated. This is where this Taillight Converter comes in. This device is engineered to convert your truck’s 3-wire system into a 2-wire version, enabling you to supply your trailer with power. This enables you to power up its turn and signal lights, improving safety on the road.
Wear Resistant Build Quality. This taillight converter assembly features an automotive-grade plastic housing, offering outstanding resistance to deterioration and cracking over time. Furthermore, this housing is injection-molded to exact specifications, enabling the device to fit precisely onto your truck. Meanwhile, this converter’s built-in wiring uses high gauge color-coded wires for outstanding performance. What’s more, the device’s input and output wiring configuration is printed onto its top center for convenience
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This taillight converter features a foam adhesive backing, making installation a trouble-free peel and stick procedure. It is suggested however that you first clean the mounting location to ensure maximum bonding of the adhesive backing onto your truck. You will also need to perform some wiring work to properly connect your trailer with this device.
Application. The Taillight Converter fits all RAM 1500 models.
Application Notes. This taillight converter assembly will not work with LED taillights.
