Description
Maximize Your Upgrades. Upgrading your tires or gears can affect how your ECU works, preventing you from maximizing your RAM 1500. The Superchips Flashcal calibrator changes all this. This handheld calibrator is designed to allow easy calibration of your truck’s systems, particularly your speedometer. This is especially helpful if you’re running larger tires, and you’re experiencing issues with your transmission’s shift points. By doing so, you’re able to get the complete benefit of all your upgrades.
Improved Efficiency. Improper shift points can make your truck work harder, which in turn affects efficiency. By fixing any shift point issues, this unit helps improve fuel efficiency as well as the life of your truck’s transmission.
Compact, Easy To Use Design. This Flashcal calibrator features a compact form factor that makes it easy to use with just one hand. Likewise, its controls are laid out in an intuitive manner for convenience. Its full-color display, on the other hand, is easy to read, making following the instructions much simpler.
Read and Clear Trouble Codes. Besides allowing you to correct any issues do to aftermarket upgrades, this unit also allows you to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes. This means you don’t have to deal with any flashing “check engine” lights. That being said, if you encounter a persistent check engine light, you should have your vehicle checked as this could mean a serious malfunction in your truck.
Full Speedometer Calibration. One premier feature that allows you to take advantage of all your upgrades is the ability of this component to correct your truck’s speedometer due to both axle/gear swaps and tire width upgrades. What’s more, this device allows you to run tires anywhere from 25-Inch wide all the way to 42 Inches.
Upgrade to Flashpaq. When you’re ready to take your truck into more hardcore tuning territory, this Flashcal can be upgraded into a Flashpaq tuner. This allows you to take advantage of true performance tuning, so you can unleash your truck’s full potential.
