Description
Unique Step Design with Highly Functional Traits. With a distinctive style of space-age ruggedness that will really make your 2009-2018 Ram 1500 look professionally customized, these HD Wheel to Wheel Side Step Bars, Black offer very large step areas for safe and easy ingress to and egress from the cab. The step pads are punched plate steel, reversed so that the punched edges stick up to provide plenty of “bite” for shoes or boots to cling to even in thick mud, snow, or rain. Extending all the way from wheel to wheel to shield against road debris, the bars have three pads on each side – two for the doors and a third, close to the rear tire, serving as a side bed step.
Built from Tubular Steel. Tough materials are used throughout these HD Wheel to Wheel Side Step Bars, with a 3” tubular steel back tube that runs along the body contour and 2” step tubes that offer very high strength. The step pads use a reversed punched plate design. The surface is protected by two finishes, an e-coating and a semi-gloss black powder-coat, which work together to suppress the occurrence of rust.
Drilling Possibly Required. You will need to drill 1/4” holes through the pinch weld on 2009-2010 Ram 1500s to mount these HD Wheel to Wheel Side Step Bars. For 2011 and later Rams, no drilling is needed. The parts bolt onto the mounting holes using the supplied high quality hardware kit.
2 Year Warranty. These HD Wheel to Wheel Side Step Bars include a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty against defects.
Application. These HD Wheel to Wheel Side Step Bars in a semi-gloss black is intended for use with 2009 to 2018 Dodge RAM Quad Cabs only.
