Description
Hefty Side Steps for Easier Access. Combining the characteristics of a step bar or nerf bar, and a running board, these HD Side Step Bars, Black includes both a 3” back bar and a 2” step bar that supports two punched step plates. These plates are reversed so that the punched edges jut upwards, forming a “cheese grater” texture that offers extremely good traction even in wet packing snow, mud, or slush. The steps have a very aggressive look, too, as well as making your pickup more customized. A gleaming black powder-coat finish over e-coating ensures that not only do these bars stay fresh and pristine for a long time, with no chips or scratches, but also that rust prevention is strong even in moist areas.
Well-Made, Tough Steps. These HD Side Step Bars live up to their title of “Heavy-Duty,” with thick-walled 3” tubular steel forming the back bar that runs along the rocker panels. The step bars are 2” tubular steel. All these components are welded together into a one-piece component that’s very stable, solid, and flex-free in operation. These bars feature two types of finish rather than just one – a rust-resistant e-coating and a black powder-coat.
Installation with Drilling (for Some Years). Though made for bolt-on application for more recent, 2011-2018 Ram 1500 pickups, some drilling is needed for 2009-2010 Rams. It is necessary to drill several new holes in the pinch weld for support brackets. All bracketry and hardware, plus instructions, come with these HD Side Step Bars.
24-Month Warranty. These HD Side Step Bars are covered by a standard 2-year warranty from the manufacturer against defects and similar problems.
Application. These HD Side Step Bars are perfect for 2009-2018 Dodge RAM Quad Cabs and Crew Cabs. Simply mount the bars and you're good to go.
