With a low-restriction Spectre Air Filter for more air flow and a durable heat shield that helps maintain the coldest air possible, this system offers more horsepower and torque. Also advantageous is an increased throttle response and better fuel economy.
No Tuning. Spectre Performance provides a Cold Air Intake that does not require fussing around to reprogram the computer (ECU). The system not only provides more power under your RAM's hood, but also lets you skip the re-tune step once it's bolted into place.
Synthetic Air Filter. The Polished Cold Air Intake System features a non-woven Spectre Air Filter with a round synthetic air filter media for minimal restriction. This means increased air flow, leading to higher horsepower and torque levels than seen with regular paper filters. Plus, this air filter is reusable, so it stands the test of time when regularly cleaned.
Aluminum Tube. Spectre Performance's Cold Air Intake has polished aluminum tubing for great performance and durability, as well as attractive looks. The system also includes a black powder coated heat shield that prevents engine air from reaching the intake. This quality system has a fit and finish like factory.
