Safe Cargo Storage. With Smittybilt adjust-a-mount brackets that support the roof rack, you store any cargo and plan a trip stress-free. The brackets are designed to support the roof rack and keep your cargo secure. The mounting brackets are sold separately from the roof rack and allow you to build your roof rack system gradually.
Durable Construction. All 12 Pieces in the set are made with high-quality steel for durability and feature a textured black powder coat. With proper installation, these brackets will deliver excellent performance and last for years. They are resistant to corrosion and rust and will efficiently stand up to the elements.
Drilling Is Necessary. It's vital to highlight that attaching these mounting brackets requires extensive drilling, which implies a permanent installation. Once the brackets go onto your vehicle, it is not advisable to remove them.
Comprehensive Warranty. Smittybilt roof rack brackets come with a limited 5-year or 100,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first. It’s important to note that an incorrect installation will automatically void the warranty, so be extra careful with the installation
Application. The Smittybilt adjust-a-mount brackets are designed to work perfectly with Smittybilt Defender series roof racks. But they can be installed on nearly any vehicle with a flat-surface roof.
Technical Note. These brackets can only be installed on vehicles without a rain gutter.
Installation Difficulty. The installation process requires advanced skills and access to a drill. You should attempt a DIY installation project only if you’re comfortable using specialized tools and know precisely what you’re doing. Alternatively, consider asking a licensed professional to complete the installation.
