One such feature is a pair of patented retractable rear steps located on each corner. These rear steps are designed to be lowered by up to 4.70 inches, giving you easy access to your truck bed. Likewise, the built-in D-ring mounts make you ready for any emergency towing situations while out on the trail. Finally, this bumper assembly will work with your rear backup sensors and hitch receiver so you don’t lose out on any of these helpful features.
LED Light Bars Included. Another area where this rear bumper offers superior functionality is via the included dual 6-inch LED light bars. These light bars are engineered to provide intense rear illumination, making backing up much more convenient and safe. These lights are also ideal when setting up camp or lighting up your rear during tailgate parties. What’s more, these light bars are mounted flush against the bumper for added protection against impacts.
Rugged Build Quality. This rear bumper is constructed from high-grade 0.125-inch plate steel for superior durability. Moreover, this bumper assembly is machine-formed to include 0.75-degree radius corners for a sophisticated style and maximum rigidity. Similarly, its trailer outlet, license plate light, and backup sensor ports are all precision-cut for an easy mounting of these items. Rounding out its construction is a 3-stage textured black powder coat finish, offering sleek looks and excellent corrosion protection.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. This rear bumper is designed to mount into your RAM’s factory rear bumper location without the need for drilling, cutting, or other modifications. Minor wiring work will be needed to properly connect the included LED light bars to your truck’s electrical system. What’s more, all mounting hardware is included and installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
