Description
Multi-Function Off-Road Bumper. Take your front-end protection to extreme new heights with the Smittybilt M1A2 Front Bumper. This front bumper features a modular design wherein you get mounts for an off-road light bar and a recovery winch rated for up to 17,000 pounds. This advanced design allows you to swap out your winch for the light bar — and vice versa — depending on your needs. What’s more, this bumper lets you swap out these components without having to disassemble the whole assembly. Rounding out this bumper’s design is a pair of fully welded D-ring mounts, making you ready for any eventuality when out on the trails.
LED Light Bars Included. This front bumper assembly is also designed to give you all the off-road illumination you need via a set of LED light bars. Specifically, this assembly includes one centrally-mounted 21-inch LED light bar and two 6-inch versions mounted on bumper’s wings. And if these lighting options aren’t enough, this assembly includes options for mounting a pair of light cubes right below the 6-inch light bars. Best of all, this assembly comes with a pair of light mounts that enable you to install the 21-inch light bar above the winch cowl so you don’t lose this function when installing your winch.
Brawny Build Quality. This front bumper is constructed from brawny plate steel measuring 0.125 inches thick for maximum strength. The steel is then machine-formed incorporating 0.75-degree radius bends to give the assembly a sophisticated style. Moreover, all joins are machine-welded for a clean look and added rigidity. Finally, this assembly receives a dual-stage textured black powder coat finish for rugged style and maximum corrosion protection.
Hassle-Free Install Procedure. This front bumper assembly is designed to mount onto your truck using factory locations. No modifications to your truck are needed although you will need to perform some wiring work to properly connect the light bars with your electrical system. Other than this step, installation is a relatively hassle-free procedure that requires just standard hand tools to complete.
Application. This Smittybilt M1A2 Front Bumper fits all 2009 to 2018 RAM 1500 models, excluding Rebels.
