Description
Universal Mounting. The Smittybilt Axle and Shovel Mount are heavy-duty mounting brackets that offer a universal fit. Designed to provide secure mounting for a defender roof rack’s axle and shovel, they accept a standard padlock for guaranteed safety and security.
Higher Grade Installation. The Smittybilt Defender Roof Rack Axle and Shovel Mount will need 5/16” bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and nuts for installation. Grade 5 or higher hardware grades are also recommended to be used when mounting these brackets.
Original Purchaser Warranty. Smittybilt offers the Defender Roof Rack Axle and Shovel Mount with Limited Warranty. As such, the manufacturer only warrants to the original purchaser of the axle and shovel mount.
Application. The Smittybilt Defender Roof Rack Axle and Shovel Mount fits all 1994-2026 RAM 1500 models. These brackets are designed for the RAM 1500s defender roof racks, providing guaranteed safety and security.
