Description
Easy on the Eyes. D-rings or drings are nothing new. They have been around since at least World War II and have not changed much in terms of design or style. However, for the most part, they come in the usual, ho-hum, black or silver-colored finish. Let’s just say they were never meant to be eye-catching or nice-looking. With the Smittybilt ¾ in 4.75 Ton D-Ring Shackles, this is not the case. These D-rings are given a head-turning, glossy coat of red that will nicely complement your vehicle.
Strong Too. Looking good is all right, but what about durability. After all, when the need arises, how good they look will hardly matter. These d-rings are made with extremely tough cast-steel and use a ¾ in pin for high load bearing capability. Capable of withstanding loads as much as four and three-quarter tons or 9, 500 pounds, you will be able to attach a chain or cable without any worries. The paint finish is durable, which means it will not peel and expose the steel to the elements.
Installation. Installing these d-rings is an easy affair and can be done by most people who have only minimal mechanical skills. All you will need is some basic tools to get the job done.
Warranty. The company will give the owner a limited lifetime warranty that lasts for five years. It will cover any manufacturer’s defects.
